Building on the success of projects in Malaysia, Ghana, the United Kingdom and Cyprus, Nkabom 2010 will take place in Rwanda between 5 and 15 September.
The busy 10-day programme will bring together around 35 young people from all over the Commonwealth.
Commonwealth Youth Summit
Royal Commonwealth Society
Commonwealth Youth Summits offer a unique opportunity for young people to have their say. Taking place in cities across the British Isles, each Youth Summit will bring together 120 young people aged 14-17. Participants will play the role of a Commonwealth Prime Minister, President, Foreign Minister or journalist and will come together to debate global issues, such as health, education and poverty.

The CYF takes place every two years, as a precursor to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting. It reflects the spirit of the Commonwealth and highlights the Commonwealth’s commitment to the principles of democracy and diversity. It provides young Commonwealth citizens with the opportunity to discuss issues, share their experiences, build consensus and identify best practices
CBA-DFID Project Development Fund
The Fund enables established UK based television/radio producers to research programme ideas to be made in and about developing countries and development issues. Programme proposals can be of any genre and programme makers are encouraged to think laterally and be innovative. Funds of up to £10,000 are available (maximum 80% of development budget).
