 Commonwealth Essay CompetitionEvery year, the Commonwealth Essay Competition inspires thousands of young writers from all over the world. Organised by the RCS, this international youth writing contest has been running for over 100 years.
The Commonwealth Short Story Competition is an annual scheme to promote new creative writing for radio, funded and administered by the Commonwealth Foundation and the Commonwealth Broadcasting Association.
The Prize aims to discover and promote up and coming and under-recognised writers, encourage dialogue and understanding of different cultures through reading, and share compelling stories of human experience.
